🚀 Welcome to Your Luna API Token Retrieval Guide!

This guide will walk you through retrieving the API token needed to access and use Luna. Your API token is essential for authorizing operations within Luna, whether you’re using the SDK or the API. You’ll use our Luna Developer Portal to quickly set up and retrieve your token.

✨ Create Your First Luna API Token

To use the Luna API or Luna SDK, you'll need API tokens for authorization. The Luna Developer Portal makes it easy to create and manage these tokens. Access the portal at: Luna Developer Portal.

Note: If this is your first time accessing the developer portal, please click on “Forgot your Password” to retrieve a password to log in with. You can then reuse this password to log in to the portal in the future. This step is necessary to receive your account credentials to get your first API token.

  1. Log in: Use your account credentials to log in. If this is your first time accessing the portal, please follow the "Forgot your password" steps below to retrieve your credentials. Your email address is the one you have provided us with.

  2. Navigating the Developer Portal: After successfully logging in, you’ll be redirected to the main page of the Developer Portal. At the top, a menu will now display additional options, including links to “Profile” and “Product” pages relevant to your subscription.

  3. Go to Your Product Page: To create your API token, go to the “Product” page. Here, you can find the license that was pre-configured for your account (e.g., "Commercial"). Click on this license to get to your product page.

  4. Create Your API Token: On the product page, use the form in the center of the screen to create your API token, referred to as "subscription". You’ll need to enter a name for your token (any name of your choice). After naming your token, click “Subscribe.” Your token will be generated, and you’ll be redirected to your profile page, where it will be displayed.

  5. Use Your API Token: Click “Show” next to the primary key to copy your token for development use.
